These special foods that I speak of are the ones that cause our bodies to burn lots of calories when we digest them. Burning calories is the main key for losing weight. The more you burn calories , the faster your lost weight.
Our metabolic rates play very vital parts in our weight loss. If your metabolic rate is high, your rate of fat burning is high. Sadly, we get a bit older and see our metabolic rates drop considerably , which makes out efforts to lost weight all the more difficult. This is why many people who are middle age begin piling on pounds. But eating these special foods can help to boost that old metabolism and assist you with losing weight.

Green Tea - When you drink green tea, you're drinking a really healthy drink. Other teas aren't bad for you unless you really add lots of sugar. But green tea has a lot of good things in it. Like fat burning chemical that will enable your fat burning process to speed up. This has been well recognized lately, and you now see green tea showing up in lots of various products.

Cycling is one of the best forms of exercise because you need to exert effort in order to pedal your way through short or distant trails or courses. With the use of your bike, you can go to places you want to and gain from it by developing physical endurance and strength. You can do it in your own community or cross to another city to join their fun rides.
In the Northern part of San Diego, California is the city of Poway that hosts one of largest cycling events in the state. The Tour de Poway that happens every month of October is a great fun ride where people from all across the county and even those from other cities of the state participate. There are different courses offered and a lot of scenic views to see.
All the cycling courses start and end at the Old Poway Park. You can register ahead of time or come early on the day of the event. From the registration fee that you paid , you get to have a T-shirt and free aid assistance as you go along with the course. They will be able to give you what you need when you run out of water or you get hungry along the way.
There are 4 trails or courses to choose from and you have to base it on your level of expertise and ask yourself whether you will be able to make it. The first two which covers 65 mile metric century and a 50 mile trail is recommended for those who are professional cyclists or those experts when it comes to this sport. There are descents and climbing of slopes and the distance is just right for those who have already conditioned their bodies.
The second two which you can choose from are best for casual riders or even for the whole family. It covers a 25 mile course while the other one is 15 miles. The latter is also called as the Poway Loop and it is advised for the family because it is just a flat trail. If you want to bring along your family with you, bring your best stun gun for added protection while taking the course.
Once you have finished the course and returned to the Old Poway Park, you can now have a rest and eat your lunch. If you have packed food for the family then it would be much better. If you have not, you can try the food vendors near the park and eat together with the family. They provide healthy and delicious food at an affordable price.
You must be in time for the event because there are varying times as to when each courses start. For instance the 15 mile starts at 10 am while the 65 mile starts as early as 7:30 in the morning. If you do not want to be late or if you still want to tour around the place, you can lodge at the nearest vacation homes. Just remember to bring your tazzer with you as you stay out in another place.
You can have the chance to compete with other cycling experts or have fun with your family while biking in the annual fun ride of Tour de Poway.
